Don’t let high-quality building materials end up in a skip bin. Every year, tonnes of usable materials are sent to landfill—adding to your costs and harming the environment.
The Better Living Foundation turns that waste into life-changing home modifications for people in need. By donating your surplus materials, you’re not just clearing your site; you’re building a safer community.
We believe your money is better spent growing your business than paying for rubbish removal. By diverting usable materials from landfill, you can reduce skip bin and disposal costs while putting surplus stock to better use. Once materials are collected, we can provide a donation receipt and supporting information for your records, making the process simple and beneficial from both a financial and community perspective.

The Benefits for Your Business
- Reduce Disposal Costs Immediately
Skip bins, transport, and landfill fees add up fast. By diverting usable materials to us, you can significantly reduce waste removal costs and free up space on site—without the hassle.
- Receive Donation Documentation
We provide official donation receipts and supporting information for all contributions to assist with your internal records and compliance processes.
Please Note: While we provide formal receipts for your records, they are not currently tax-deductible. The Better Living Foundation is a registered fundraiser, and our application for full Charity and DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) status is currently under review with the ACNC and ATO. We hope to be able to offer tax-deductible receipts in the very near future.
- Strengthen Your Brand & Win More Work
Clients are increasingly choosing builders who demonstrate real sustainability and community impact. Partnering with us helps position your business as:
environmentally responsible
community-focused
solutions-driven
- Simple, Low-Effort Process
We work around your site. Send us what you have, and we’ll handle the rest—quick decisions, flexible collection, and minimal disruption to your workflow. Removal may depend on location, amount, lengths but well do our best to be there as soon as we can
- Turn Waste into Measurable ESG Outcomes
We can provide detailed reporting (available on request before picking up) to support your ESG and sustainability commitments, including:
material types donated
estimated weights diverted from landfill
reuse outcomes and community impact
This gives you real data you can use in internal reporting, tenders, and stakeholder updates.
- Positive Social Media & Community Recognition
We can showcase your contribution through:
social media features
project stories
before-and-after transformations
This gives you authentic, real-world content—not staged marketing—that highlights the difference your business is making.
